CAMIO ENTREPRENEUR LAB
The CAMIO (Come and Make It! Organization) Entrepreneur Lab progresses students through the various aspects of business ownership and startup.
We take your students from idea to startup to selling over the duration of 12 months. Students participate in a variety of business, finance, and entrepreneurship classes throughout the year. Within 6 to 12 months, our advanced entrepreneurs are out with their startups earning real money.
In 2022, Students in our Entrepreneur Lab brought home close to $25,000 and donated close to $8,000 back to the 501c3 nonprofit – a portion of their donation went to providing weekly or bimonthly classes to trafficked girls at a local group home free of charge.
In 2023, youth will continue this tradition of giving a percentage of their sales to help underserved populations. They will help launch funding into the CAMIO fund, a fund that helps guarantee access to youth based on need and merit.
What is the cost of the CAMIO Entrepreneur Lab?
The cost of the FULL CAMIO Entrepreneur Lab is $60 monthly. This includes Understanding Finance with Jefferson Bank, Business 101 with Timothy Warlow and Blythe Zemel, and FREE access to many of the skill-based classes at Come and Make It! such as sewing, culinary, 3-D Printing, and more.
All sales have a required 30% service fee. 20% of sales covers expenses to sell such as credit card fees, retail bags, mileage. 10% of sales is a tax-deductible donation to the CAMIO fund. Advanced Sellers are required to fill in tax information and have a checking account that payments can be directly deposited to.
The CAMIO fund provides scholarships for Come and Make It!and it’s affiliated youth programs to underserved youth based on merit and need. Apply here: CAMIO Scholarship Application.

- Understanding Finances with Jefferson bank (meets monthly – second Friday from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM)

‘Come and Make It!’ offers Junior Entrepreneur Club 2’ x 2’ booths. Items in those booths will be put for sale through e-commerce online at comeandmakeit.org.

Boerne Markets are included in the monthly cost of the Junior Entrepreneur Club for our Advanced Junior Entrepreneur Club. Our Markets team will periodically invite our newbies to the markets for insights and information. Additional markets do require a market fee.
